Pegged out on the Sofa!!!!!

Remember these

well they have arrived at there destination so I can now show you what I did....

all those beads where hand sewn as I had millions of them thanks to a parcel from Mrs Nesbit a while back!

Sew! I thought I would make another little lady and send it too the person closest to 9000 who comments in the chat box on the side, further down the page. So keep an eye on what number you are then tell me in the chat box, please!

The specialist has now put me on the largest dose of antibiotics I have ever been on in my life!!! I have to take 2 horse pills, 3 times a day for 2 weeks plus anti-inflammatory tablets !!!!!!!!! He believes I have an infection of Diverticulitis I have taken one full day and feel awful, so maybe good verses evil inside my body is beginning, I know one thing I will have no stomach or bowel lining left at the end of it. Anyway if the pain doesn't go, then I have to see him before my due October appointment, probably in 2 weeks time at the end of my course of tablets unless the pain gets worse.

The weather has been lovely and I have wandered down the garden a couple of times but find it too, uncomfortable to stand for too long, I even don't feel up to 'doing' anything outside which is probably just as well so I am working my way through our DVD collection, I think I have watched all the period dramas I own, and all the 'Catherine Cookson' DVD's I have which is 6, I shall have to work through all the rest now. I am knitting and will show you what in a short while! Off to curl up on the sofa again!

I am sorry that you are not able to enjoy your garden for long. Get lots of rest. Your peg dolls are lovely. Sara from farmingfriends

Well, no one says that Diverticulitis is a fun thing to have. But I really hope they have pin-pointed "the what" of what you have. If so, they can deal with it!

Yeah, horse pills. Seems that way, doesn't it? And the anti-iflammatory pills I have to take at times, are horse pills too!

"I will have no stomach or bowel lining left at the end of it."

Did anyone tell you to keep food in your stomach, while on this regimine of meds? I'm up on such stuff as my husband and one son, are pharmacists and we've owned a family corner drug store for going on a half century.

Anyway, I wish I knew which anti-biotic {horse pill} you're on. One, you should avoid dairy products, and another gives a weird mouth taste, as a side effect. It will go away but... it's so nice if your pharmacist tells you these things, ahead of time. So you don't wonder what the h _ _ l is going on. ,-)

All this gut stuff is no fun, and I know well. Hugs to you, to get it all sorted out.

So sad that you are not well enough to enjoy your garden - but 'resting' and taking the pills as instructed is, I am sure, the right thing to do - but so frustrating for you.

The peg dolls are lovely - and Mrs Nesbitt is so kind sending you all those beads - there are so many things you can do with them - and you have really been clever in your designs.

Wishing you well xxxxx

My hubby has had 3 bouts of diverticulitus. Its absolutely no fun at all. He was in such pain. I wish you a speedy recovery and that no more bouts will happen.
Your peg dolls are really cute too. Nice job.

As the proud owner of those sweet little peg dolls I'd just like to say that I have had so comments on them and I think you might consider making lots more.
