Up to Worcester again!!

Went up to see Kathryn with the stuff I forgot last time. she is very settled and very happy, seems to like what her courses are doing, gets her computer set up today so all in all very settled!

Stringing Onions!

I had trays of onions in the shed and I thought I ought to do something with them so I did this

first attempt, then look, I got better

haha I'm rather pleased. Probably go down the shed tomorrow and they will be in a heap on the floor!

Then I went down the garden and did some digging and picking

tomatoes and a green pepper.

Not bad for a little veg patch!

Doing a bit in the Garden!

I thought I would get out and do a bit of tidying in the garden before the rain comes later in the week! Then I thought some of you might not know the route I have to take with my rubbish when the compost bins are full so follow me......

Very easy, the mower goes out this way when I mow across the road, the chickens came in this way, rain, wind hail or sun it all goes in and out my front door!



Anyway I did some clearing and I need to move a 'dogwood'! which has outgrown its spot and I wanted everyones opinion on whether to keep the flower bed or convert it into another vegetable patch! So you all understand whereabouts it is... in the very top picture its the bed on the left!

The yellow leaved tree in the middle is an 'Indian Bean Tree' the dogwood is on its left, there are 'hellabores', 'lillies', alliums', ladies mantal' a slow growing conifer, a rose that is covered in blackspot but I don't want to get rid of it because its one my dad gave to my sister and she gave me a cutting, loads of grape hyacinth, daffodils etc etc.
So suggestions please..........

Egg Colour?

I have had my chickens since May, and they have always, always, always laid brown eggs...........
until today that is, I went down to let them out before 7.00am checked the nest box and look what I found a white egg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what do you think has happened?

This is Tori at the bed end, to the right of the mirror is the washhand basin, all those CD's are the freebies at doors of shops, Kathryn has collected for years. Loads of photos on the wall to the left of Tori, so if you are family you are on that wall!!

Kathryn taking a pic of me taking a pic! She is very relaxed and happy and appears to be sharing with a great group of students, I think the thing that impressed me was there are 3 floors in Chandler 'East Side' (as they call themselves) and they all pop in and out and visit one another!

We went into Worcester for Sunday lunch and I took a few more pics
