Tomorrow

I will have been blogging for 2 years! I probably won't be around. But would like to thank everyone who has visited and commented over the past two years! I really appreciate the time you take to do this!

I would also like to introduce you to Jake

He has settled in remarkably quickly considering what a timid chap he usually is! As you can see he has no tail, although he came to our neighbours with one, he lost it in a fight with their other cat, at the time he was still a kitten and not aloud to leave the house, they never found the tail though???

Our house is by no means a quiet house and I think he's enjoying that and the company! If it wasn't for my other two I would let him out of T's room for a wander round, but I must take this very slowly, so maybe at the weekend, I will let him wander round the landing and into the lounge whilst my other two are off out. So his scent gets around and intermingles with the 'family' scent.

I have a feliway diffuser plugged in upstairs outside T's door and one downstairs, what amazes me is my two have trotted right past and taken no interest in T's room what so ever!!! I can't beleiev they don't know he's not there?

Celebrate!

Its this little girls birthday today!
She got lots of lovely pressies which included her favourite 'Garden Vouchers'. She is off out to lunch today to the bestest Garden Centre around,so may even have a chance to spend them! She still has some saved from Christmas as well!

and even a personalised birthday card too

This weekend I spent being lazy in the garden, which is quite novel for me as the word 'lazy' is not one I use alot! I really only pottered! Anyway I bought some more box plants to put in each of the corners of the raised beds of the potager! Itreated myself to a 'palm' from Wilkinsons!

It was so hot on Sunday that both the greenhouses, top vents where open

Sadly I have lost my 'Musa Rubra'

But the 'Musa Red Tiger' is sending up lots of new leaves.

I wrapped both my outdoor bananas in different ways after finding out I actually don't need to wrap them at all! Anyway I unwrapped the one by the pond to see how it was coping and the answer is 'not very well'!! Its all soft and squidgy! Not a good sign!!
and as I post this I realise I forgot to re-wrap it again last night! Guess what we had a severe frost last night!! I will check the damage later!
Meanwhile some sky pics to finish with.....

Lucky Me!!!

I recieved some fabulous pressies today, take a look

Ever since I knitted the bracelet for Kathryn I have been fascinated by this. I think the girls are rather keen that I continue!!

Lots of National Garden Vouchers! Which I am planning to use to buy these

BUT! When I get there I may very well change my mind!!!!!

My sister knowing me so well included in her parcel these seeds.......

she knows I like to try something a little bit different!!! So I will keep a diary of a Loofah Plant, when I get going!!!

But the bestest, bestest present of all was

I wore this necklace on my wedding day! But sadly the neurotic dog we used to have broke it along with 2 others about 6+ years ago! Kathryn said I had them out a while back (she has the memory of an elephant)anyway she pinched it when I was in hospital and she and Mark got it repaired!!!! It is a great favourite of mine and I am thrilled to bits to be wearing it again!!!!

I have had a most wonderful day, with my family. I have recieved some lovely cards, infact I have had more cards this year than I have had for a long time, thank you everyone.

I'm sorry Kathryn, for putting the pic of you and Lee on the blog, but you know what Aunty Cal is like!!!!! He seems very nice, although how you two will ever make a decision I will never know!!!!!
