Another Day in the Life of me and my Bum!!!!!!!

Like Ruth my Red Caster oil plant has decided to flower!

Been off to the specialist today and I now have to have a full body CT Scan on friday, I don't think he's worried I just think he's trying to get to the bottom (No pun intended!)of the problem!

Now this is no jungle plant even though its planted in the jungle, its a Jersey Walking stick

I then have to go in for another small op, on Monday 13th!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember what happened to me when they operated on me on Friday 13th!!! Should I be worried?????

This is a Echium Pininana Plant (top picture)aka Tower of Jewels and can get to 15ft

This is a Paulownia Tomentosa (foxglove tree) which will hoepfully look like this one day

then once that has healed he wants to take another look with another camera!!!!!!

I think I have had more photos of my bowel this year than I have had of me!!!!!!!!

As great as your bowel probably looks, I'd rather see pics of your exterior Libby. :-) I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that everything goes well for you on the 13th. It being a Monday makes all the difference!

Thanks for the pic of the castor oil in flower, it looks great!

What a bummer that you're having to go through all this...guess it's worth it to check you out properly but not the pleasantest of experiences.
You really do have some wonderful and unusual plants...so impressive.

Don't worry about the 13th... I just had foot surgery on Friday 13th (last week) and I am still in the land of the living. Hobbling a bit, and lurching about like a drunken sailor, but still very much alive!

When you get the pics, stick them in your family al-bum! Sorry, couldn't resist the joke!

Seriously, your garden plants are looking fantastic :)

I go for a colonoscopy on August 21st...
Not something I look forward too with unbridled joy. BUT... like you say, we have to talk about these things.
Even is it makes our 'cheeks' blush..!

Sheila, I've had that to last year, the actually colonoscopy is a piece of cake its the medicine you have to have before which is a bit dire!!!

When I saw the heading I thought the first red flower was the business end of your b**

Do so hope that it is sorted once and for all.

It must be very miserable for you
