To have a paddling pool!
fill it with water
get in and think mmmmmmmmm! bit cold!
after awhile its actually quite cool
obviously a bit too cool for 'T'!
Oh look K is out warming up and T is in??? But the pool looks fuller??
My girls aren't so soft, as the hose heated up it warmed the water inside it so they topped up the pool with the Hot, yes hot water from the hose!
Sassy thought it a bit hot too but likes to be close to the girls!
The chickens have been moved again, but they found it hot as well so took themselves to bed early!
When ever we go to see to the chickens, Tango always walks with us.

Phew! Yes, what a scorching weekend. Great idea a paddling pool! Today however the fog is back!
What a wonderful way to spend a day. I know a man who used to heat his swimming pool (only a small one) by pumping water round a hosepipe that was trailed around his garden over shed roofs and anywhere the sun was. So your girls had a great idea!
Lovely family post....having fun and dealing with the heat......a warm post.....
What a great idea, a paddling pool, and one big enough to lie down in, fab!
Unfortunately, our weather last week was rainy, stormy, not paddling pool weather at all, but this week looks promising so perhaps I'll get one for my back yard. I'll have to get one soon for young Callum anyway!
Came here from Mrs Nesbitt. Far too cold (it's winter here in Oz) for pools.
We've had ice on the cars for the past week!
I loved this post. It reminded me of when my daughter and her friends first left home to live independently. The first thing they bought on moving in to their rented accommodation? A wading pool like the one in your photo. I thought it was both funny and delightful.
Now that was sound thinking on getting a paddling pool was it was too hot for words these last few days. Mind if I join? ;-)
These are definitely the loveliest flowers in your garden, dear Libby, full of life and love and hope...life must be great to watch them growing into maturity after all those years of loveing tender care :) Love Sassy and Tango as well. Love and hugs, WG xxx
