Why is it that whenever I start to become good at something, without fail, someone comes and pulls the carpet from under me!
Every single time this happens.
I, as you may or maynot know have a passion for Brugmansias.
I have owned alot of them for a number of years and increased my stock so I could make a small business selling cuttings
which I had started to do, quite successfully!
but recently I began to notice a change in my Brugs.
but did not know what it was,
believed it was the weather affecting the plants
these are pictures of my (past) healthy plants
now they all look like this
Can you see the mottles leaves? That is the mosaic virus! The plants can continue to grow but eventually become stunted. They all have to go. Every single one of them! Not one of them can I keep! I need to find out if this virus came in with some stock. Will it remain in the ground, in the greenhouse etc. I am gutted, totally and utterly floored. To have spent so much money and lose it all in one foul swoop is unbearable!

I am so sorry Libby.....noone else can possibly understand how you feel. To have spent so much time and money, only to see it all fade away must be devastating.
But, I am going to be positive here, you will get it sorted, to me you seem to be that sort of person.
I wish you the best of luck,
take care.
Oh what a nightmare - I agree with Cheryl - you WILL bounce back from this.
Hope the rest of your jungle plants are safe.
xx
Oh nooooooooo, this is bad Libby, very bad. I'm so sorry I know how you love your brugs and now this. It really is the pits.
Recently I bought a gorgeous Brugs because it made me think of you. Perhaps come autumn I can send you a cutting or two from it?
