Mother natures Yellow & Blue & Lacock!

Some views around the local countryside right now....

I just so love the intensity of the yellow of the oil seed rape! Heaven help you if you have hayfever though!!! When we had a dog he was a devil for running off through this and used to come back yellow, even though he was black!!!

For those people who remember Bluebell woods, these are just for you...

I think you must remember me telling you that Lacock is used for filming, well they commence filming monday and it looks alot different to the way it usually looks...

it has a jail..

a shoe shop and furniture repair shop...

theres also a universal store...

which is normally the Red Lion! To give you a comparison this is what it normally looks like..

I haven't found out yet what is being filmed but rest assured if I do find out you will be the first to know!!!

I'm so glad you posted the bluebell wood - I'm guessing it's the one above Lacock which last time I went (a few years ago) smelled heavenly. I used to visit Lacock quite frequently when we lived near Westbury, but having moved away I don't suppose I'll be a regular visitor any more. Look forward to finding out what's being filmed.

I remember the Bluebell Woods I used to visit in Kent when a child. So pretty. the filming sounds exciting! Wonder who will be in the jail...if it's Sean Bean let me know and I'll rustle up a jail break...LOL

Libby thanks for the lovely pics. Those rape seed fields remind me of Denmark and my own country as we have them too. Funny about that naughty doggie of yours. ;-)

Bluebell woods is utter bliss of course, how lovely it all looks!

And like everybody else I'm curious to know what it is they're filming. What beautiful houses are there in Lacock, no wonder they want to film there.

What a dreamy village, Libby! And those yellow rape fields and the bluebell woods are also dreamy, not to mention colourful as well. Tell us all what's being fimed there when you know about it!
