I'm Dyeing!!!

Well not dieing as in the end of my life, but dyeing as in adding colour to ones life!!! Well not exactly my life more like K's life!
She had bought some lovely cotton throws from IKEA to put over the sofa's in their lounge,they where cotton colour, you know cream!!! Then someone had an accident with some bolognaise sauce, they washed them straight away but as you know bolognaise and cream don't mix, so they are now being rescued by me!

The ingredients:

1 Lovely Mummy!
1 washing machine
2 stained cotton throws
2 packs of machine wash dye
500g salt

Pre wash the throws so they are damp. Weigh out the salt.



Add dye to the drum, cover with the salt add damp throws and wash on a 40C programme. Remembering not to look in the washing machine while the wash is in progress as it will make you worry about all future washes that may come out 'PURPLE'!!!!!!



I said 'DON'T LOOK IN THE WASHING MACHINE!!!!!!!!'
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Fortunately the finished result is I think pretty good!



and I washed some tea towels after and they are not purple!!

Happy Birthday Sis!!

Today is my Sister and bestfriends birthday, she will be 46!

I adored her from the day she was born



She is loved by everyone


and had the most amazing auburn coloured hair, she used to hate it, sadly these black and white photos don't do it justice!



Now I run for cover, once she sees this, my life won't be worth living!!! LOL!!!!!!

Rain Stopped Play!!!

Well we had made a decision about what to do, and whixch way the greenhouse should face..............

The major disadvantage to both ways is the amount of space it takes up. But if you get a big greenhouse as reasonably as we did, then you don't look a gift horse in the mouth!!!

So its deciding which is the lesser of two evils!!!

This way.... it comes further up the garden, plus I will have to allow for access through the doors which will take more room. Add a new path and the doors will be facing north! Plus we will have to redo the ground work!


This way, you seem to see more of it, the path is already there and the doors will not need any more space for access, plus the ground work is done!!



So yes you've guessed it we stuck with the original plan (2nd pic), but sadly rain stopped play, so it remains unfinished. Next weekend the rugby is on so I doubt much will be done then either!!!!

So what did the specialist say? Well I am going in for a Laparoscopy click to find out more! He has had a look up, now he will have a look around inside to see if he can see anything that is causing the pain!! So that is another general anisthetic, so more brain cells lost!!!! I did ask if he could do a 'nip & tuck' as well as I was being so kind in allowing him to do all this to me, the least he could do was do this for me. I think thats fair don't you??
Sadly he said no!!!!

Oh Dear!!!!!!!

I love the size but I hate how much room it takes up! What was I thinking of!!!!



As it is we still managed to get the base wrong, so that has to be done again!!!!!

My neighbour as she walked down her garden nearly had kittens, but never said a word, just looked!!!!!!

So we turned it round to see if it would be any better???






My husband is so patient with me! Bless him! We have bought all the louvered windows and automatic openers.
