Happier!

I just received this from the school the hens went too!!

The hens are doing well! my tutor group loved them & we already have lots of pupils wanting to join the chook club.
although the hens are still shy, the move doesn't seem to bother them as we have had eggs on the first day (much to the delight of the head teacher who got the first one!).
I will send you a picture of the hens in thier new spot when i remember my camera!
thanks very much for all your help as well all the little extras you threw in!

Smiling now!

Jake decided to help me with my blogging!

I think he's bored, but we have so many toys and boxes and laser lights and things attached to string its actually quite dangerous round here!!
He yowls so loudly, and it is tempting to always reply to him but it actually encourages him to yowl more loudly!
Suggestions greatly received!

just read this post before the earlier one and wondered what was going on?!! :) I think giving them to a school is an awesome thing to do, and as a firm believer in karma, it will come back to you in spades! :)

Great stuff Libby. They are obviously getting so much attention. Think of the MANY MANY children who will enjoy this experience nad possibly want their own. A great education!

Hooray for the girls, they'll do well at their new school... and to think the head teacher got the first egg... what a priviledge!
I'm assuming Jake has arrived for good... he's not just on holiday with you for a while. I'd be inclined to answer his loud yowling, strike up a converastion, see what I can find out.

I had a chatty black and white male cat at one time. He liked the computer as well. I would answer him, I found it was better then taking to myself..lol

Your chickens are bringing lots of joy to many children and to the head teacher too. ;-)

LOL I know how much they help with blogging. Merlin is helping me right now and I have great difficulty typing his. ;-)

It's possible tht Jake is a bit bored, he used to be allowed to wander to his heart's content outside and now he has to stay in all the time. He has to get used to that.

BTW that special door was a great idea.

Give Jake a big cuddle from me!
