Weekend Away!

I had a lovely weekend! If ever you get the chance to visit the Exotic Garden then do go! Sorry Lottie I didn't visit, but what was due to be a long weekend turned into a short weekend so couldn't really fit everyone in!
Anyway here are some pics

Mark bought me his book 'The Encyclopedia of Exotic Plants For Temperate Gardens Climates’ published by ‘Timber Press’ which Will very kindly signed for me!

He is also a cat lover

A Devon Rex, quite a bizarre looking cat.

His Siamese, apparently quite old.

A moggie who took a shine to my hubby!

but my favourite was this Havana, what a beautiful cat and such a lovely temperament!

So after a lovely time here we went to the seaside,

well a couple actually,

wandered,

walked,

then ate fish & chips out of the paper watching the sun set!

It's an amazing garden and on such a steep sloping site! Hope they were serving their delicious teas whilst you were there! Glad you enjoyed Norfolk - especially our charity shops! :-) ! t.x

Hi Libby, yes, Hilbre Court is quite close to my parents' flat. It's a bit further along the prom towards the sailing club.

Surveyor went in yesterday, so we have our fingers crossed it went OK!

Hugs from grey Liverpool, where my toms still aren't really getting red, so think a lot of green tomato chutney lurks in my future! ;-)

Wow, that exotic garden looks wonderful and is right up your street, isn't it Libby? ;-)

Love the kitties. Devon Rexes are one of my favourites because of their wonderful temperament. I don't have any but that's because they are not one of the healthiest catbreeds.

A long walk along the seaside that is what I like too.

He was definitely a kindred spirit, Libby :) That's the nearest I've seen to a garden like yours..and kitties too :)

That day sounds like a dream come true. What a delightful way to spend 24 hours. Pity about missing Lottie, though. Both of you ladies could easily open your own garden hotspot and charge admission.

Your weekend away looks like it was wonderful. I've never met a Havana Brown but have always longed to do so.
