Its amazing how quickly you improve when you remember to take your tablets!!!! I was put on the 'black dog' tablets a while back and guess who forgot to take them whilst she had been ill!!! So I took one about midnight the night before last, when I worked out what was wrong with me, and by the morning the jumpyness had stopped, so I need to wean myself off them, not just stop dead!!!!!!!
I have done alot of knitting and finished my first ever pair of socks, really chuffed
Been contacted by my Great Grandfathers, brother's, grandson, much to the delight of my mother and me of course. GGrandpa James Lee had 2 brothers and a sister and there appears to be a grandson from his brother Thomas, my mum, grand daughter from James and a grand daughter from Hannah, the sister. So we will try and get them all together!! Exciting hey!
Are you fed up with the rain yet!! I think its the only thing thats been keeping me good, if it had been glorious I would have tried to get out in the garden before now!!
So what has been going on in the garden.....
well the patio is a tip, covered in the dismantled greenhouse, which K very kindly helped hubby to dismantle, the only problem is I'm not sure Hubby will remember how it all fits back together, so we may have to put it up before K goes back to Uni, she has a memory like an elephant, so if I get stuck ????????????????????????
The jungle garden is really growing well now, in all honesty it is probably all a bit close together but I think the effect will be fabulous!!!
This is my brugmansia, the one I have had 3 years, it has been well and truely battered the last few days but still it flowered and the scent is beautiful.
Just look what one of my hens laid
over 3 inches long and weighs 4oz. Makes your eyes water to just think about it!!!!
and look at this lovely lady, according to my book she is a Scarlet Tiger (Callimorpha dominula) I have never seen one before, she is quite beautiful. How do I know its a lady well look
THIS NEXT PIC IS X-RATED!!!!!!!! lol!
she has a visitor!!!!!

Yay for the socks!!! - Don't they look fabulous? Your garden looks great too!
So much to comment on! I am so glad you are feeling better. I love your socks. (4 needles ir two?) I am astounded at the size and abundance of your garden. We are just starting the first of many downpours across the border here. And those moths must be doing well this year as I've seen a lot of them too, now I know that the different coloured spots are the two sexes, so I've learned something today!
Glad you're feeling better and remembered to take your tablet! Good to see the Brugmansia in flower; don't think mine will...garden's shady at the best of times but with the low light levels!!!...I can live in hope. The Scarlet Tiger is beautiful; well done at getting a photo of that...and the "bit of the other"...LOL I've never seen one before.

Good to hear you are feeling better, Libby! I just love your jungle garden. It's so different to any other blog I visit, so I always look forward to what's new.
Love the Scarlet tiger too.
Fantastic photos Libby - we have missed you - so very glad that you are feeling back to 'your old self'.
Your patio is just a greenhouse in waiting so not a mess - and just look how stunning your real Jungle garden looks - all your hard work earlier has paid off and it is brilliant. You must feel very proud of yourself.
xx
I'm glad to see you back in Blogdom, and that you are feeling better. See.... the garden survived without you, and it looks lovely. All jungly and I expect to see a tiger peering out of the foliage at any minute.... well, mabe not a REAL tiger, perhaps a Scarlet Tiger will have to do!!! Nice pics.
Garden's looking good!
I have some more pics of mine to put up, but have been totally exhausted this week after last Sunday's visits to Mum in hospital and Dad in nursing home.
We're going for afternoon visiting today (better go get bathed!), hope it goes better than last week. We only stayed with Mum for about 5 minutes as she was so horrid to us both. I know it's the illness talking, but it's still upsetting.
Glad to hear you are feeling improved, hope you're all better soon.
Best wishes from sopping Liverpool
I used that same wool for that exact pattern of socks too! Snap!
I'm so glad you are feeling better! The socks are beautiful! You did a fantastic job! Now that the first pair is finished, you'll probably want to make more. Your garden looks great and the butterfly is like nothing I've ever seen here! Very striking in color and design.
