As sunday was such a glorius day, and Jake had successfully found the cat flap, plus there where four of us here I though today should be the day when he would be allowed out!!!!!
he had an explore around and kept popping back in for a lie down! Or flop as we call it!
as you can see he is not easy to see
and after more exploring, look at the awful new fence our neighbour has replaced the ivy with!
he disappeared for 5 3/4 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not that I was counting of course!
So I tried hard to keep myself from worrying and having an early heart attack!
By moving some plants around to disguise the 'fence'! Quite pleased with this.
Sassy as you can see was not atall bothered
Eventually Jake returned, much to my relief, but then Sassy and Tango stayed out all night so I didn't get much sleep last night!!!

I'm glad it was such a success although I can understand very well how worrying it was when Jake disappeared for such a loooooooong time. And when he was finally safe inside, Sassy and Tango pulled their disappearing act. Poor you!
Ugh, that new fence doesn't look good at all. Perhaps you could paint it dark green? Makes a great background for the plants and then you won't notice it so much anymore. Good thinking on putting your gorgeous big plants in front of it.
If you feel like having a bit of a laugh, pop over to Bliss when you have time. :-D
Looks like you have a party animal (or three) on your hands. I'm glad Jake came back. The fence might look better when it has weathered a bit. Using your plants for camo is a good idea.
Libby....I nearly had a breakdown reading that......perhaps that is why I have dogs....I would not know where to start with a cat but I have loved following this....it has been so interesting and opened the world of cats to me.....
Oh no... fancy Jake disappearing for so long, I wonder where he went? Probably snoozing under some giant tropical leaves somewhere! It's about time those silly kitties got their act together and started to behave sensibly!!!
It's like herding cats. Libby Catherd, that's what you shall be known as.
