Have not posted, as I am not well!! But I still have to drag myself out of bed and water everything that needs watering down the garden, so here are a few more pics..
This is my new 'Sanguinea Brugmansia' just flowered
My original Brugmansia Grand Marnier, must be about 3 years old now
I have never had so many buds at this time of year before and this is just one side
Lots of new leaves on my Alocasia
this being the biggest leaf, so far this year
I just love this part of the tree fern as the fronds appear and unfurl. This is my newest treefern and has been alot slower to get going that my other one which I have had a couple of years!
Looking down
I must recommend to other would be tropical/jungle enthusiasts the 'ukoasis' forum. For information, help, support and lots and lots of ideas. I would not be as far along as I am with out picking their brains and just reading through the posts!

Beautiful! I must try my hand at them next year. I would probably kill them, although they look happy in pots.
Do get better soon, at least we have some rainfall to keep the gardens going.
Huge leaves and flowers, you are really becoming an expert jungle gardener. I am really impressed, and there you are out in the garden watering plants when you're not well, and you even find time to blog before you stagger back to bed.... that's what I call dedication!!
Hope you feel better soon Libby; I didn't have to worry about watering after the torrential rain last night. Your "jungly" plants are looking lovely...really hoping to see some signs of flowers on my Angels Trumpets...I keep lugging them about so they get a bit more sun. Take care.
What a beautiful brugmansia. I have never seen or heard of it before so thanks for sharing.

Hope you will feel better soon Libby!
Tree fern pretty!
Sanguinea Brugmansia has beautiful flowers, well worth the wait. ;-)
How exotic and beautiful they are! I feel like I'm in the rain forest! It's great you can grow these kinds of things. I cannot do so here, so will just really enjoy your photos instead! :o)
Hope you're feeling much better now Libby!
Your garden is looking fantastic!

Get well soon, Libby! Great photos of your amazing garden plants. I know nothing, absolutely nothing about these plants! They seem very exotic to me. I think I'd need to grow them indoors, apart from the fern.
Would you like to see two little videos of the garden at Barleycorn, or which flowers are in bloom at the moment, or some gearded irises at the Chelsea Flower Show? Come on over for a visit :)
oops! Bearded irises!
How are you feeling Libby?
Sending you hugs today, Friday!

Oh what is the matter? How are you not well?
Please take very good care of yourself. Please don't let anything go on too long. Please see a doctor. Please...
Hugs,
Mari-Nanci
Wow, thanks for sharing the brugmasia pictures - they are amazing looking flowers.
Hope you begin to improve soon. At least with all the rain most of your plants will prob be OK without watering for a while? Though I do find that I fill my pots so solidly with plants that unless the rain is really torrential they still need some water.
Best wishes from grey Liverpool
Just popped by to see how you are. Are those glorious Angels Trumpets fully open yet?
