Outside this morning at -2C
All this beautiful weather we are having and I have to stay inside!
Why inside?
Well I couldn't trust myself not to do anything outside, I'd be tempted by the weeds, the chickens, the grass, the muck heep, etc etc. So I'm staying inside and doing stuff here instaed with this
and this
and a little inspiration from this wonderful book
I made this
for my mum, for mothers day! Her favourite colours, the patchwork came from a bag of patchwork pieces I have had for years.
I really enjoyed myself, so I may make some more!!!!

ooooh you sew too??? I think that is one thing with crafts - at least you can pretend you are resting but still be achieving something. I really like that Apron - the colours are so springlike!
It's not so hard to stay in today, well not here anyway, it's freezing!
Cold here too.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Oh and foggy too.
You have been good, very good indeed to stay in while the garden was beckoning! Love that apron you made for your Mum. Not doubt she will be very happy to receive such a lovely gift from her daughter!
Wishing you a belated Happy Birthday - sorry I missed it I was out all day and never got near the computer.
A Wonderful apron you have made - your mum with love it.
xx
I've had to stay in during this glorious weather too...but the course work I achieved is nowhere near as pretty as the work you've been doing :o)
Well you are keeping busy :-) The garden can wait until the warmer weather, ours seems to be looking after itself at the moment although I expect the bird seed will be coming up all over once we have warmer weather :-) Great that you have made your mothers' day gift :-)
Oh, darn I missed your birthday - well, the birthseason will be on for a while so I'll try to catch up.
Happy, happy, happy!!!
It's hard to stay out of the garden when you really want to be out there pottering about. Nice apron, hope Mum likes it!
Your Mum will love it. I would have been in the garden though...can't sew to save my life, respect. Love the wart hog to.
