I read over at Ruths today a post on 'NO OFFENCE INTENDED' then I followed the trail to Us Danes where it all started and in all honesty I totally agree with Shaz, comments

So . . . . . .

1. No more Tags for me please. I may see a Tag that takes my fancy occasionally but I'd prefer not to be Tagged directly as I don't want to offend by saying "No Thanks!".




2. As for Meme's, well I could if I wanted Meme everyday but apart from Thoughts for Thursday that I think will be it for me. For me the post part of these meme's is only the start as the whole essence of a meme is to take the time to visit other participant's post & leave a link or comment, something I don't always enjoy as I want to visit blogs I fancy going to not ones I 'have' to visit.

3. Awards, Ah awards. I love em! But alas I will gracefully accept & post but not pass on directly. I apologise for passing on the recent awards but I felt at the time my blog had very few awards and got pulled along by the thrill of it.

I hope I haven't offended any one in making my stance but as time is precious I've had to prioritise & adjust my Bloggin' habits.

I'm a bit out of sorts at the mo! So posting will be a little bit irratic!

Anger and Sadness

Anger at the farce that was called a Parish Council Meeting, at my so called friend who is a Parish Councillor being congratulated on her attempts at mediation between the 2 parties and steaming anger at the fact she so graciously thanked everyone!
But they have not won yet, round 2 is about to begin!

Sadness at the sudden death of my Aunty, who had cared for many people , she was a nurse, been a good friend to many more. She was married to my mother's brother, an alcoholic, she stuck by him through thick and thin until his death in 2004. She had just recently sold her house and found a lovely flat and was beginning life afresh. She was also my mothers twin they shared the exact same birthday and birth year mum had known her since they where 14!
Mum is feeling very vunerable at the moment.

I had planned to contact the specialist again re: 'the pain' which is slowly creeping back, but I may have to put it off as I will have a funeral to attend next week.

Looking For Lots of Money!!!!!!!

Now has anyone got £395000, going spare? Our neighbours are about to put their house on the market, you know the one.....

the garden on the right, with the greenshed in. It goes all the way down to the Poplar trees. You can see what a difference it would make to me and my little garden. Mine ends at the Greenhouse and the Shed and look how thin it is in comparison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has 4 bedrooms, a family bathroom and an en-suite, large fitted kitchen/dining room and odd shaped lounge. No garage just off road parking, but you have rear access, which is where my coal comes round!!!!!
Hubby couldn't believe it when they told him, especially as I said just 2-3 weeks ago that I wanted to move. He's asked me to get a valuation on our place, but as much as I would love it, I really don't think it would be fair on him. He would have to work years past retirement. So I haven't done anything............. yet! What they have suggested is if any future buyers don't want all the land, then we will get first refusal on that!!! I only hope we get nice neighbours as the ones before them where 'awful' and made out lives a misery!!!
Sadly for us our good friends in No 1, have friends who have been looking for ages in our area, he's in the RAF so I expect they will snap it up land and all!!!!!!!

Nearly 9000!

Hubby took T out for a bike ride the other day, she does so enjoy it and over the last 6 months has not had the opportunity to go. So they went to Salisbury and got some beautiful pictures of the Cathedral.



My chooks are misbehaving, well not actually being naughty just not laying, I have four and am currently getting 1 egg a day, if that!!! They seem happy are eating there greens and pellets and mixed corn, get there grit. Then I was told "compare their combs, as layers are vivid red non layers are pale. Also compare the colour of the scales on their legs. Dark yellow good, pale cream bad."
I got quite excited about this, thinking it could solve all my problems until I had a look, so I took photos to show you

This is Bunty, I believe the only layer at the moment as I went down to take the pick she had just come out and a nice warm egg was waiting for me


Babs was also a good layer but currently I'm not sure



Big Bird, now I believe this lady has not laid eggs for a while, she is blind in her right eye



and as for Bree, well to be honest there is no hope for this bird, she is totally off her head. A typical 'Bird Brain' you approach with a handful of mixed corn, everyone comes running except her, she charges off in the opposite direction screaming for her life!!! I suspect this little lady is responsible for the occasional 'soft shelled eggs' we used to get. I was lucky to get this pic!!!



so there they are, to me they all have good red combs,not one of them has pale yellow legs!!!????? Help!!!!

The bottom of the garden is being dug up again!!!! (Not by me I hasten to add) Ready to house the greenhouse. Bearing in mind I only did this at the beginning of the year can you see the size of the suckers running from left to right!





These have grown since I first did it earlier in the year and are actually giving me cause for concern, as I don't know where they are coming from! I'm not sure weed membrane will help stop these coming up in the middle of the greenhouse!!

Finally some flowers




and some plums, given to me by my neighbour, which I shall make into Autumn Chutney when I feel up to it. In the mean time they have been stoned and quartered and frozen. I hope this works!
