Congratulations Ex Shammickite on being the closest to 9000 who left a comment. Thank you all so very much for visiting my little world.
Now has anyone got £395000, going spare? Our neighbours are about to put their house on the market, you know the one.....
pic taken out my bedroom window.
the garden on the right, with the greenshed in. It goes all the way down to the Poplar trees. You can see what a difference it would make to me and my little garden. Mine ends at the Greenhouse and the Shed and look how thin it is in comparison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has 4 bedrooms, a family bathroom and an en-suite, large fitted kitchen/dining room and odd shaped lounge. No garage just off road parking, but you have rear access, which is where my coal comes round!!!!!
Hubby couldn't believe it when they told him, especially as I said just 2-3 weeks ago that I wanted to move. He's asked me to get a valuation on our place, but as much as I would love it, I really don't think it would be fair on him. He would have to work years past retirement. So I haven't done anything............. yet! What they have suggested is if any future buyers don't want all the land, then we will get first refusal on that!!! I only hope we get nice neighbours as the ones before them where 'awful' and made out lives a misery!!!
Sadly for us our good friends in No 1, have friends who have been looking for ages in our area, he's in the RAF so I expect they will snap it up land and all!!!!!!!

Keep buying the lotter tickets!
Thanks for dropping by my blog and playing the Nursery Rhyme quiz. I'll post the answers and winners up on Friday. I hope you enjoyed it. :)
Just checked my old socks but no money in either of them. Bummer! ;-)
Love the view from your bedroom window, very pretty. Love your garden too, it looks much better than the one next door, that one is a bit like a snorefest, don't you think, with all that grass and not much else?
Perhaps I should buy that house next door? ;-)
What a lovely view you have! I can see what a garden paradise you've created. Crossing my fingers that you'll win the lottery and get that extra land.
:-)
I am sure the new neighbours will be able to spare a bit of land for you Libby - ask sweetly - take round one of your lovely cakes - maybe you could even rent a bit off them.
xxxx
OOOOOOOOOOO I actually won! Thanks so much, I am stunned! I'll be contacting you today.
And £395000 for the house next door... that's incredible! That's $836,704.12 in Canadian dollars.... how can anyone possibly afford that? I think your house prices must be way more expensive than ours.
Better check your piggy banks and maybe have a car boot sale to boost the finances, it would be fun to move to the house next door. Just think of the savings cos you won't have to hire one of those huge moving vans!
A lot of money for the house and property but what a dream it would be to have it. The area looks so lovely and green.
Nice neighbors are so important too. I wish you the best.
since the dollar is so weak compared to th pound (2 to 1) I think I won't be able to help you this time Just let me win the lottery though and it's yours.
